Characters From Charles Dana Gibson's Drawings Placed in the Modern World

Recently, a friend of mine shared an article on Facebook about an artist who placed figures from classical paintings into the modern world. When I saw it, I was inspired to do something similar, but my twist on this concept is to use figures from Charles Dana Gibson's drawings. To make it more fun, I also decided to add some funny captions to them.

I may make another installment using a different location for the setting, and maybe figures from a different artist, but here's what I have so far.

1.) "Hmmm. It all sounds fine, but what does the 'C' stand for?"

2.) "There! Out of sight; out of mind..."

3.) "I am not easily swayed, for I know that all Slurpee flavors are identical!" (Fellow Stranger Things fans will appreciate this one. ;))

4.) "Watch your step, Darling."

5.) And to top it all off, I was taking a selfie on the way home when I realized it was being photobombed by this fine fellow!

So what did you think? Which of these images had you laughing the hardest? As always, let me know in the comments. I would love to hear from you!
